Watkins Mill State Park is home to a 100-acre lake that attracts fishermen, boaters and swimmers alike. A long paved bicycle path encircles the lake and is used by joggers also. Camping, hiking, picnicking, metal detecting and horseback riding are also common here.
The park offers eight miles of hiking trails that are also used for cycling and horseback riding.
